Deborah Robinson was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas. She is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor's Degree and graduate studies in Broadcast Journalism. While attending college, she worked as a Media Specialist for the Little Rock School District. Her first job in the media after graduation was as News and Public Affairs Director for a local radio station. At 23, Deborah was hired to oversee Channel 14 in Little Rock, becoming one of the youngest television station managers in the country.

Deborah has won several awards for her news and public affairs coverage. She won the cable industry's prestigious Crystal Award for producing and organizing a weeklong series of public forums and television programs. She received national recognition and the Regional Award from VH-1 for her story on parents in prison. She also received a national award from the Arts & Entertainment Channel for her coverage and story of civil rights heroine Daisy Bates.  These and other honors reflect the impact she has made on television as well as her dedication to the communities in which she’s worked.

Deborah has served as the Arkansas Correspondent for Black Entertainment Television News, covering President Bill Clinton from Little Rock and Washington, DC. Deborah has also produced and anchored several television programs including Arkansas' first statewide television newsmagazine, Real Story.
 
In 1994, Deborah founded Robinson Studios to produce television programs and documentaries that make a difference in the lives of viewers.  As President of Robinson Studios, Deborah has overseen every aspects of producing television from concept to distribution, including securing exclusive rights to special projects, finalizing business agreements and raising finances. Her experience and expertise in the television business has grown Robinson Studios tremendously. 

In 1998, she moved Robinson Studios from Little Rock to Nashville to further elevate the company's presence in the television industry, moving Robinson Studios from a full service video production company to Robinson Omnimedia, exclusive producers of Deborah Interviews, Faith Declarations, Real Life Conferences, Journey to Purpose Book and Book Series and Music Without Walls.  

Deborah approaches her many responsibilities with enthusiasm, professionalism and passion, imparting a special and distinctive flair that has made her a success.  Her heightened energy level allows her to delve into all areas of the media, including authoring and publishing.  She is the author of Journey to Purpose:  31 Days of Faith Declarations.  In the on-line book, Deborah gives biblical scriptures to motivate and encourage readers to find and pursue their God-given purpose.  “There is no time for wasted lives, wasted years, wasted months, wasted weeks, wasted days…or even wasted moments.  The time for us to realize our purpose and move toward and forward…is now!”
